It wasn't an early KO though, D. Shane thoroughly schooled, dominated, and dismantled Margarito, systematically, on a round-by-round basis. Ultimately knocking him all over the damn ring.

Lol, I was watching the fight while making that topic. He was on his knees and kind of grinning to his corner like, WTF are you doing? I can obviously go on.

I don't know about that. Seemed more like the confused grin of someone who had never been knocked out and been through that experience previously.

Margarito has rarely if ever been hurt before and he just didn't know what to do other than lay on the ropes and take a beating. Had he gotten up, he would have been put down again, and again until he could get up no more. He was not going to survive that onslaught.

Well, that right hand just as the ref jumped in to stop it put him down quite badly, and I don't think he would have gotten up from the next one for the full count.

He was ****ed up by that stage and that last right hand really did him in bad.
