Ah that's tough man. Maybe, Dzinziruk, I guess. Not Spinks. That guy's a spoiler, man. Hard to look good against him. Martinez is too good.

      Styles make fights.

If I were looking for an easy win and I knew my fighter was Capable of than i'd pick Spinks.

Now if I really beleived my fighter could beat anyone, i'd obviously go for the biggest name fight, and at the moment that's Martinez.

Are you really 17? I don't believe that for one second. Long time no talk by the way... good to see you still around every once in a while.

Spinks looks a bit past it to me. His last fight against a wildly overrated fighter in Lattimore was pretty telling to me. He was a lot more flatfooted, and barely pulled out a split decision against a guy who made his name by getting a fluke win over Sechew Powell (who is an underachiever himself).

Dzinziruk is sooooooooooo technical it's scary. That guy does not make technical mistakes, and he has some power in that right hook. The way he schooled Santos and Julio are pretty good indicators of his skill.

Martinez is just too much for any young fighter IMO... once you get your fighter in there with a guy with that much speed, and can't be hit, even with his hands at his waste, your fighter's confidence is going to be crushed.

The winner of Santos/Foreman would be a good candidate, if not Spinks. Santos is technical, but makes mistakes, and is very inactive. Just avoid that left hand, or it might be lights out. I don't know a ton about Foreman, other than that he is very slick, and very boring. I'd rather see Santos win than Foreman if I'm looking to get my fighter a shot at the winner of this fight.

I ultimately conclude that age has caught up with Cory Spinks, and he would be the easiest champion to pick off in the division.

Heh, you are probably too ballsy to be a handler. Anyone who puts their prospect in against the best champion in the division is insane. That's a huge step up... and things can happen in boxing. If one of those things happen in that fight, is your guy going to be able to keep it together, without having that wealth of ring knowledge and experience to keep him focused and knowing what to do?

Maybe if Foreman won he would be the right guy. I just have this strange belief in Santos, man. Like if he could just put it all together at once he could be the man in his division. I wouldn't be able to sleep soundly as a manager putting my guy up against him.

Well, I'd like my fighter to take the risk to be great... Maybe a ****** move, might end up similar to Angulo/Yorgey even though Yorgey had more pro fights I believe HBO said Angulo had alot of amateur bouts and was in the Olympics.

Too many variables if u ask me.

If I wanted My fighter to be a superstar i'd pick Spinks first than probly try to unify the titles.

But i'm sayin if I had a real talented young prospect who i beleived in, instead of fighting the number 4 guy for the title i'd put him in with the number 1.
That way wen its all said and done there aint no question marks on who's the best, there aint no **** talking, I got the number 1 guy. Bring whoever else on

Say my prospect is a young Tito Trinidad then I go after Dzinziruk or Martinez

Spinks or Foreman if my guy is a B level guy

It is fairly scary to put your guy in against a Zab Judah type of fighter, because... well, what happens if he does put it all together on the night your guy is in with him? You have the first L on your guy's record. Not comforting indeed.

No reason you can't pick Spinks off, and then try to unify. It's nice to have a step up before going after the best of the best in the division. That's just my opinion though... I have respect for people like Floyd Mayweather who went straight for Genaro Hernandez instead of trying to get another ABC trinket and then going for the top dog in the division.
