What was James Toney's money punch?

    In his prime.

I've only seen a few Toney fights... Barkley (when every punch was his money punch), Jones Jr. (when no punch was his money punch), Jirov and some heavyweight fights (when he's past his prime).

What did he use to dominate his fights so easily?

that sneaky uppercut that he conceals and reveals with his core body movement

His right hand, either countering or leading.

His defense. Although idk if dominate all his fights easily is totally accurate.

Well it's not... he has more SDs, MDs and draws on his record than I've ever seen for a fighter that was revered as a god in the ring.

Yeah Toney defines the phrase fighting to the level of your opponent. Even some of his ESPN Cruiser fights were too close for comfort.

straight right counter, in almost all of his fights thats the punch that hurt or discouraged his opponents

Counter right won him rounds, scored him points and hurt opponents as well as make them hesitant to throw their own right but his left hook was his money punch ie. the shot that had the most power and knocked most of his guys out.

His right hand though was his best punch.

I thought you would be a big Toney fan D. You need to get on to it brother! All his MW and SMW fights, especially his SMW ones. Great stuff.
