Boxing should take a page out of the UFC's book

Now I am in now way comparing the 2 or trying to say ones better then the other. I love them both equally I'm just saying boxing should do something the UFC does to better the sport. And what it is, I think boxing should co-promote fights. Like in commericals the UFC promotes anywhere from 2-4 fights on the card getting people pumped.

I think they should put Pascal/Dawson on the same card as the next huge welterweight showdown, whether it's cotto/Mosely, mosely/mayweather, Pacman/Mayweather, I think they should put that fight on there with that mega welterweight fight. You'd give the guys exposure to the casual fan and it'd make these guys more popular. One of the main problems with boxing is they usually only have one good fight going on the average night. Unless ones on HBO & the others on showtime.

One of the main problems with boxing is the lack of exposure for the young guns. Most people only know Roy Jones & Hopkins from the past. Then they throw Johnson/Dawson II on HBO and expect the casual fan to watch it. Now if they put Pascal/Dawson on the same card as one of those huge megafights and show it before that fight, then if one impresses, people would be interested in watching them fight again. I just think they should work harder to put big fights on the same card and mention that other great fight on the commercial. Idk, just an idea.

I think the play boxing should take out of MMA's playbook is the incentive for entertaining fights.

Both the UFC and Strikeforce give fighters bonuses for knockout of the night. Which gives fighters an incentive to take chances for the sake of entertainment and makes a loss much less taboo because they can weed out the real warriors from the guys who may have inifinitely greater talent but fight like panzies.
