Well, if Bernard loses he throws away a possible $10M fight with Trinidad if he can get past Wright. The winners are supposed to meet, or so they say. There is no contract nor is this a tourney, but that's what both fights have indicated, with all four fighters wanting to fight the winner of the other fight should they win.

I think Nard will win a very close, maybe even a split, decision. Also, Taylor has no options with GPB after the fight so, even if Hopkins loses, they don't get any money from Taylor's next fights.

He is already a legend and now he needs to pass on the torch!
If he wins and retires, there will not be a real champ and people will always question is he the real deal?

I say it again.. MARK MY WORDS: HE WILL LOSE and LOSE BY POINTS!
I thought you were on to something when I read the title of the thread, know you are just sounding like a drunk conspiracy theorist... Bernard and Taylor are going to get there thing on and the better man is going to win and then the winner goes on to getting on with the winner or wright and trinidad plain and simple.
WHY AND THE **** WOULD TAYLOR SIGN TO GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS WHEN HIS PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY GOT HIM THIS FAR SO SOON IN HIS CAREER?
This is boxing not gymnastics, ain't no fighter that has worked this hard in his career to gain recognition, about to hand his title to a young upstart just so he can promote him and make money off him, when his has just started to get money himself...

Golden Boy Promotions needs another champion to promote! Hopkins beats him, retires and they are left with nothing!
          All about politics!

I’m sure Oscar already talked him into it!
And no one believed me! This was one of my First Threads when I joined..

          Think about it.. (again)
Most Hopkins fans still believe that B-Hop won the fight... But Taylor is still a valid champ as he beat B-Hop.. therefore when Hopkins retires, there wouldn't be any **** talking that Taylor is a paper champ...

You Get the best of Both worlds.. B-Hop still retires a "champ" and Taylor wins by a split decision, which is not convincing enough to ruin Hopkins legacy, but on the other hand convincing enough to make Taylor a new champ!

As I predicted before.. Could the fight be staged
