I get the feeling he wouldnt, if he wins easly people will say it was an unfair fight because of size etc... if he wins a difficult battle people will say he didnt deserve the win or that he was fighting a smaller guy and had troubles....

Have to see what a win would look like, but he would certainly have one hell of a case. NO ONE has fought what he has the last few years and his lone loss is shrouded in controversy.

no he shouldnt be number one but I have a feeling he will rise in the mythical p4p ranking as did floyd with his win over Marquez.

pac has only one advantage over cotto at welter and that is speed.

in every other department cotto is better than pac at welter, so he should not get to much credit. this coming win over pac is not better than his win over shane mosely,

after he beats pac it will boost his popularity and have a significant impact on his career but his win over clottey is more significant at welter.

pac is a great fighter and greater than cotto will ever be in historical sense but he has no business fighting cotto at welter.

How the hell does he not get the top spot if he beats the man at the top??? Makes no damn sense to me that if you face all the top welters, which nobody in the division has yet to do and is the richest division in boxing, then beat the P4P #1 guy in the world...and you still do not get to be P4P #1
