    EDIT: Misread post.

Would be pretty close. Probably Dawson by close decision.

It would be close. I think Cunningham would have a real shot with this athleticism, size and reach. He has a great, long left jab (when he uses it) and a pretty good right hand behind it.

Cunningham would be the stronger fighter but Dawson has the advantage in technique and poise. I still have questions about Steve's ability to finish...I think it's a toss up.

Cunningham could really hurt Dawson. The size difference would be ridiculous in the ring. That being said, if Dawson can do what he does best (box smart), he should be able to win it.

That's an interesting point. What does Cunningham usually weigh on fight night? Dawson was 191 last night.

Cunningham has been weighing in the mid 190's (weigh in) for his last few fights. Come fight time I'd guess he's probably in the low-mid 200's. Cunningham has to have very low body fat. HE's a lean dude with a lot of muscle.

I'd guess that he'd have 7-8 pounds on Dawson if they fought. Height-wise they're pretty close. Dawson is 6'2 I think and Cunningham is 6'3. Steve just has that freakish reach.

Yeah, his reach is crazy. Too bad he doesn't have that little bit of extra power to go with it. If he did, he might have stopped Adamek in the 8th round of their fight.

But yeah, I was surprised Dawson came in at 191.

He had Adamek rocked badly in the 4th round with that volley of punches including a right hand and left hook. He certainly has enough power to hurt his opponents...his ability to finish is another thing. He was able to stop Marco Huck but Huck was dead tired and ready to go. He tends to fall in to his opponent and smother his own punches. Once he figures out how to keep his man on the outside and just calculates his punches he'll be a better finisher.

Interesting match-up, those guys have a lot of similarities. This would be a close fights, I think Chad take the early rds but Steve would be able to top him because he has a way better stamina. Cunningham by close decision.
