Why did you stop watching?

I missed it live. The only version I could get when I got home was a youtube version that had 7 parts. I put two and two together and realized there was no KO. Saw the first 5 rounds of dominance, figured Valuev had no shot and stopped wasting my time with that boring chess match so I could watch the HBO fights.

I don't score ineffective aggression. I think i saw Valuev land 10 jabs the whole 5 rounds while Haye would land a big right hand or jab to the belly every once in a while at least.

I had the exact same scorecard as the commentator (who was pro-Haye as well), 2 rounds up for Valuev. I was actually shocked to see Haye get 116-112 on two of the cards.

I don't score rounds to people who are only interested in throwing 2/3 punches a round. Valuev was on the front foot constantly, and was in control for at least 90% of the time. At least he was attempting to throw punches, yeh he didn't land that much but that's cos Haye was only interested in running away.

I mean seriously, people taking about giving Haye 10 of the rounds?! umm for doing what exactly? give me a break. In all fairness this fight shouldve been called a no-contest for the lack of action, but again there's only one fighter to blame for that. I'm interested to see how people compared this fight with the Dirrel-Froch fight, because Dirrel used the same tactic in a much more skilled and effective way, yet he lost.

And I agree, aggression (if you want to call it that) is no good unless its effective. And I didn't see Valuev check Haye's chin once
