Angulo Vs. Cotto. Who wins now that Angulo has had a couple of confidence boosters?

This fight was discussed at the time that Cotto was undefeated. Angulo to me, is a slower version of Margarito but throws straighter punches. My opinion about him hasn't changed even after he lost to Cintron. I know this is a Mexican-Puerto Rican match up. But no flaming please. Keep it civil.

Cintron was 170 pounds that night and has a lot more length than Cotto does. He also has more power when he loads up.

Cotto is too small to fight Angulo, who looks like he struggles to make 154 anyway. Miguel can beat some fighters at 154 depending on size. Martinez is one of those fighters imo.

Martinez is the type of fighter that Cotto shines against. I think that would suit Cotto's style and we could see a replay of Cotto-Quintana. That's why I don't think Williams is gonna get much credit after he beats him. Then again Angulo lost to Cintron like everyone points out and Martinez KOd Cintron. But people need to remember that styles make fights and pressure is Cotto's kryptonite. Angulo has plenty of it and more.

He doesn't have the fastest feet out there, but one thing that really impresses me about him is the fact that he cuts off the ring really well. I don't think Cotto could handle that, and Angulo has more power and is bigger.

Why is it a joke? Most people are picking Cotto to win just because Angulo lost to Cintron. But other than that, they don't give an explanation of how Cotto would keep Angulo off of him and deter his pressure.

well considering that they're in two different weight classes how can this be discussed y'know?

if they WERE the same weight class, cotto would outbox him easily. all you need is to stick and move vs angulo and have some power to your punches. that how cintron beat him. that last guy that angulo fought was tough but he really don't got power to his punches.

I was very impressed with Angulo last fight. He fought a mover and kept good pressure on him. I dont know if he would let Cotto breath past with Cotto. Angulo has a good chin so if Cotto goes to the body he may have better success and thats the formula he forgot in the Margarito fight. If I had to pick id take Angulo by KO. Cotto is a great fighter but styles make fight and that style is bad for Cotto. Cotto eats to many right hands and Angulo has power in that right hand that will put Cotto in a lot of trouble.
