Although I think think that Morales would be a tougher fight, no doubt EM vs. JMM or MAB vs. JMM would make for great fights.

      These fights should be made.
i don't think this fight is feasible. JMM has two belts in the featherweight division and i don't think he will give it up just to go up. barrera likewise will not go down, and definitely not morales, considering he is already planning of going up to the lightweight division. pacquiao is most likely the opponent for him, because pac, as i believe, is more of a natural featherweight. pac vs marquez is a better match-up!

however, if marquez does move up, barrera will be a better match for him than morales. but still barrera will win, probably by a UD.

i agree! marquez may have the ringmanship to last 12 rounds against morales, but he has no power like that of pac to even rattle the bigger morales. and marquez has a questionable chin (refer to marquez vs pac), and with morales' precise power punches, he is in dire trouble!

and i don't see marquez going up! i think he should either go against pac, who is a more natural featherweight, or go after the other two belts held by in jin chi (wbc) and scott morison (wbo)

        what do you think?

I think Morales fares better against JMM.

JMM wont engage in bravado and thus Morales will stick to a boxing plan more against JMM then he would against Barrera. Morales reach advantage and stance will also be able to help him avoid many of JMM's couter punches. Morales can box from the outside very well, and to a point might be underated in that point. But when he gets into that boxing mode i've seen him do pretty amazing stuff. Morales also benefits a lot from the distance that JMM would give him.

MAB will have to get considerably closer to JMM than Morales or maybe even pacquiao if he is to score. Making JMM's job of countering much easier since he wont have to reach as much. He wont be able to box JMM from the outside, JMM isnt a naseem hamed and will fare better.

All he needs to do is be reasonable about the amount of money he wants and I'm sure he will get some big fights.

He has paid his dues just like Winky has, now its up to his fellow competitiors to give him the shot.
how can he get big money if he is avoiding big fights? barrera and morales are bigger names than he is, he should put the challenge against these guys, the way pac did.

MAB and JMM would be a "boring" chess match
but id still pic morales over JMM
                    but JMM over MAB
you got that right... Both great counter punchers waiting for the other to make a move.... it would be boring as hell but i'd still would like to see it
