Is Manny good with pressure styles
Based on the fact that Manny has poor footwork when he is forced to do something he does not want to do, you would think that makes him vulnerable to pressure styles, but he is such a sharp shooter that its okay pressuring the guy, but when he has such fast hands and feet and can hit you hard 2/3 times before you close the distance, it makes him pretty dangerous to try and pressure.
Kostya Tszyu was a long range fighter in my estimation, he is the type of fighter that likes room to punch, so when he fought Hatton and he was denied that room he had a hard time, however when Manny fought Hatton, Hatton thought he could walk in the front door and impose himself, but for what Manny lacks in footwork when pressed he makes up for with speed of hand and foot, that was the difference imo, Manny can nail you with 3 punches before you get to him to try and take advantage of his footwork, he also has the ability to hurt you in that sense because he will most likely hit you with a shot you dont see coming.
Morales tried to chase Manny in the 3rd fight, he got canvased, JMM tried to pressure Manny second time around, he got canvased, Hatton tried it, he got painted with hard counters and eventually knocked unconscious.
