IF Mayweather/Pacquiao happens, IT HAS TO BE HELD IN A STADIUM!!!!

Not a fkin casino. For the benefit of boxing in general. Just think about how MUCH LESS SIGNIFICANT fights such as Thrilla in Manila and Rumble in Jungle and Brawl in Montreal would have been had they been held inside a casino???

Mayweather/Pac is gona be a global event and has to be organised like one too. Take it back to the glory days when jack dempsy used to fight in front of 50000 ppl in a outside stadium!!!!!!

I doubt the promoters would want to miss out on the casino's money, Vegas pays alot of money even in a 10,000 seated arena more than a 60,000 capacity stadium, Its all about economics.

When the majority of cash flow for promoters and the fighters themselves come from either live gate sells + PPV buys then.....Yes, having it in a stadium that can pack a possible 85,000 thousand more would be much more ideal than an *arena (lol) that holds 15k tops.

Also I think the Cowboys first game at their new stadium packed something like 105+k people. I'm pretty sure thats the new record. LOL @ 60k.

The casinos put up a massive site fee to host the fight.

Ticket sales are only part of the money casinos get when a big fight takes place there. They also get all the gamblers and high rollers spending money there, people eating there, drinking, staying at the hotels, etc...

That's why the biggest fights in the states are usually at casinos, they pay the largest site fees to the promoters. If they didn't, then we'd see more big fights in larger arenas.

Mayweather won't fight anywhere but the MGM. Bet on that.
