i am from the UK ... i dont rate the current crop of UK fighters very highly, David Haye aint to bad, But last night he was IMO terrible, he spent virtually the whole fight running away from a guy who cannot box (he was terrified).. did 46yrs old Holyfield run like Haye did?.... Holyfield engaged the Russian in a boxing match and was robbed of victory.. Haye proved nothing to me lastnight.. and like someone said earlier : The Klitschko`s must have been laughing their heads off at Haye`s performance.
Valuev was Robbed

so do you think valuve should of kept his title considring he didnt land any punches.come on honestly it wasnt a good fight but valuve done nothing to win the fight apart from walking forward and throwing a jab and hitting thin air.not sure if you know this but you dont get any points for doing that.Haye v Valuev musta been the worst title fight within my memory.. How can Haye be awarded the victory when he ran away all night... at most Haye landed 10 punches, at most Valuev landed 10 punches, but how can a challenger who runs and refuses to engage in a boxing match be `gifted` the Heavyweight belt.... To beat a champion you have to take the belt from him, David Haye did not do that,Comment

If you think it was a robbery then you don't have a clue about boxing and you should find yourself another sport. Valuev hit nothing by air with 95% of his shots and landed only one notable power shot. Haye executed a gameplan to near perfection and landed all the big shots. Only way to fight a man of Valuev's size and style.Comment

Frankly, I can't see how it was that close and I've watched the fight through three times now. At most I can give Valuev five rounds, but I consistently give him four. You can't win a round by just hitting air and plodding forward, especially if your opponent counters you with three or four serious power shots in the same round. Haye certainly should have had a higher workrate, but perhaps that would have led to stamina issues late on.Comment

It was a horrible fight to watch and I think Haye got his tictacs spot on. My point is,is that everytime a fight happens that is close or not so easy to score, the forum gets flooded with mongoloids with tales of robbery etc. I find it amusing.Frankly, I can't see how it was that close and I've watched the fight through three times now. I had it 114-115 Valuev, but the rounds were so poor and hard to score i wouldnt argue the decision either way.
Im delighted with the result, but what a terrible fight.Comment

I keep seeing your posts in here talking bollocks and changing the subject, you keep saying Haye ran, the fight was boring, so tell me then clever twat how would you have fought a guy a foot taller than you and a few stone heavier with a longer reach...
Actually Id pay to see you stand and trade with Val, that would make my day.
I actually found the fight quite intriguing, got a bit frustrated with haye felt he couldve got at Val earlier in the fight, but to say it was a robbery is pure bull****, Val as usual looked like he wanted a fight but did nothing....Comment
