Roach knows PAC professionally and personally better. They been fighter-trainer tandem for almost a decade now.

Yes, but Santiago has been in Cotto's camp in on way or another, for quite a while as well.

And Santiago, unlike Roach, strikes me as the type that would just chill with Cotto when he goes clubbing, partying, ect. So a more buddy buddy type of bond.

Whereas... Roach is mentor/teacher. Its a different kind of bond.

think about it, in a course dont people generally have better and more open relationships with the TA as opposed to the professor. Santiago was cottos ta for a long time and their relationship could be real tight.
