I thought it was a great performance by Dawson

I sign on here and see threads immediately bashing Dawson, but just want to say I was very impressed with his domination of Johnson and display of great skill. I actually had it 109-119 for Dawson and think scores like 115-113 are insulting to his work and awesome talent.....It would not have been out of the question to score that fight a shut-out.....His performance tonight confirms the view I had before that he is the #1 LHW in the world.

he had real moments of brilliance ... but overall the fight wasnt that entertaining so thats where all teh hate stems from. funny thing cause johnson is a real entertaining fighter but he was so dominated that it sapped all the drama ...

Yes, by the 10th you knew the inevitable UD was coming but its was a masterful display of skill and poise by Dawson and he shouldn't be bashed on here for not rushing in little an idiot and boxing intelligently.

Yea it was good win but u think he'll make fans with that style.?? Remember he dont have the personality of a malignaggi or mayweather he better fight with more tenacity and passion or he aint getting that spotlight..

True boxing fans know he fought a great fight. He was very smart and used his speed and intelligence in the ring. He fought a smart fight against a rough and rugged fighter that brings constant pressure and throws alot of punches all fight long.. Guys like that aren't easy to look good against.
