Alfredo Angulo vs Harry Joe Yorgey?

The undercard fight for the main event tonight is Angulo vs Yorgey. Does anyone know anything about Yorgey? Does he have the skills to beat Angulo?

I think Yorgey can outbox Angulo. If he gets caught good, it's probably lights out for him.

      That said... WAR YORGEY!!!!!

I'm predicting a late stoppage by Angulo but Angulo will be winning on the scorecards before the stoppage happens. Tommy Hearns son is a ****ing joke, but Yorgey seems like a fighter with alot of heart I'll give him.

Yorgey is a live dog here with some boxing skill and alot of heart....but Angulo should be favored to win.

He is decent and capable. He has a slight shot. 100% chance this fight is awsome though

Pretty decent fighter. 22-0-1. Tough and is coming of a impressive win over Ronald Hearns, so should be a good test for Angullo.

I like Angullo do by TKO victory......

I expect a solid showing from Yorgey but I just don't know if he can hit hard enough to get Angulo's respect.

That being said, the Hitman's ******** tip for tonight is to bet the over 7.5 rounds in this one. It is paying +160 and I think Yorgey is experienced enough to gut this one out through some tough moments.

I won't be surprised if he is stopped very early or late on but I think if he makes it through the first 2 rounds he can find a comfort zone and make Angulo slow down and box.

If this is the case 7 round seems like the minimum distance for this fight, with it paying off at those odds I am gonna bet $150 to win $240.

Heres a gif image of the yorgey/ronald hearns fight I made awhile back. And even though Yorgey knocked out Hearns I wouldn't call Yorgey a knockout artist. I don't think he is a hard puncher though he did catch Hearns son with some good **** and you can't just let fighters tee off at you like that.

Yorgey falls into a select group of fighters. He is one that always trains hard, always admits his weaknesses, and always gets better with each fight as a result.

He reminds me of Librado Andrade in that regard. Both fighters were at one time seen as too limited to be anything other than ESPN cannon fodder, yet through old fashioned hard work that have overachieved at every turn.

I don't think Angulo can box with Yorgey, flat out. If Yorgey can hit hard enough to make Angulo think twice he will probably will the fight 8 rounds to 4.

On the other hand Ronald Hearns can't take a shot so I don't think you wanna read into that fight. Angulo might very well walk right through him and kick his ass like Cotto-Quintana style.

It's definitely worth a bet at +650. People betting on Angulo at -1400 must know something that I don't.
