One thing Tua is not, is entertaining for boxing fans. He is probably THE most one-demsional Heavy of the 90's, after Ruiz. That is why Tua will never be a first-tier heavy, 'cause he can't fight. he can lunge and throw that big L-hook, but he ususally doesn't connect.
For being 43-3-1 (38 KOs), I think Tua CAN fight. Lasted 12 Rounds to Lewis, Byrd, and Ikeabuchi, so Tuaman can hold his own. At least he doesnt get destroyed like other heavyweights. Come on Munn, give him some damn credit...

The only thing that kept Tua Man in that Lewis fight was that Lennox was tiring from beating on Tua's head! If you call that showing "holding your own", so be it!

i do, he may not have the skills to bring down a bigger, better lennox, but he does have the heart to stay on. i wonder why he's not given the opportunities other heavyweights (dum ones) are getting?

Because he's out of shape, slow, and showing no committment to the game. A promoter makes an "investment" in a fighter and wants to see some returns. Tua is a bad investment at this time, despite the very poor condition of the Heavy scene, until he can demonstrate some committment.

i think if he can get a third fight with rahman he can put things right once and for all, he just needs a couple more fights to shake of the ring rust and get his weight down, then when he beats rahman he can destroy ruiz again

Hey, Tua just needs to go all out in attack mode like he did with M . Moore. If he would of just threw punches hitting anything as long as it was connected to the body, in the Lewis fight he would of connected eventually and won by KO looking like a warrior but he was trying not to lose looking cute.

Hey dude in Holloman AFB.. I used to be stationed there at White Sands Missile Range 1975-78. The Army had one unit there at Holloman AFB. Alamogordo; Las Cruces; UNMS Albuquerque; the Lobos and Juarez; Ft Bliss We have a Samoan married to an Mescalera Apache Indian named Mao Niko up the Indian Reservation going up the rode by Tularosa to the Resort before the Horse Races "Ruidoso?" forgot the name??? That's where I bought my first car 1976 Monte Carlo swivel seats and the women were everywhere. Going to different Campus including the JoB Corp next the Lobo Campus. If I had to do it all over again I'd only use a Harley more often than I did.
