The only thing is, has Valuev faced a fast power puncher recently? I mean Rahman is slow, Chagaev is slow and not a puncher, so I think Haye does have a punchers chance for sure, but Wlad is the better more complete fighter.

50/50, Haye is very very fast and powerful. Wlad is much technically better and powerful. Whoever lands the first solid bomb, Haye's speed suggests he would but Wlad is taller, longer and technically better so Haye would have to find an opening.

Haye wont be overawed by his size either, he fought someone who makes Wlad look like a baby.

Haye got the puncher chance against Wlad. Nothing more than that.

But i believe he can improve to a much better fighter:

He is athletic, he got power and he has speed.

With a good trainer guiding him he may be the new "real deal".

Haye has a punchers chance but that's slim imo. Wlad's jab is very powerful and sharp. His jaw would control Haye and once he steps it up and throws a right down the middle, I think it would be lights out for Haye.

70%-30% in favor of Wlad in my opinion, but It would be a exciting fight while it would last.
