Plese tell me, how else could haye of won that fight?

Haye being 6' 3 and Valuev being 7' ., how could Haye or any HW standing 6' 3 beat Valuev other than the way Haye did?

People are going on about it being boring, but really what other options did he have with Valuev?

Go for the KO from round 1? thats really clever! :s

So go on , those critising Haye, what sensible plan should he have followed?

Haye could've pressed the fight a little harder. As we all saw, when he let his hands go (in the 12th) he was able to hurt the giant..

Had he let them go a little earlier Valuev would of been out of there...

              That's definately true.

However, he fought a fight that never allowed his opponent to use his best strengths against him.

That is the definition of boxing, yet people are going on like he was on the back foot because he's a ***** and not because it was the most effective strategy.

Valuev hasn't been rocked in 50(?) fights and Haye fought with the smartest strategy.

The point is at the end of the day, that noone has made valuev look so amateur and insignificant as a boxer in a long time, and noone has defeated him in 50 fights. Noone has rocked him in 50 fights.

I fail to see where Haye made a mistake, apart from underrating his own power somewhat?

He could've fought more like Chagaev who beat him first.

More aggressive. I will reserve judgement though until we learn the extent of his injury.

This fight didn't exactly make him mister excitement.

Haye needed to do what he did in rd 12 for the entire length of the fight.

Not only would he get more respect, he probably would have KO'd Valuev.

in fact nearly nobody believed that haye can box so disciplined for 12 rounds!
I watched the fight a second time now and i think haye boxed beautiful! No doubt!
