Was Haye lying about the "injured hand"?

I remember something about an "injured hand" that became an "injured back" back in June.

No medical doctors ever did confirm Haye was injured at that time.

Was Haye lying about the injured hand after the fight today, to make an excuse for fighting like a frightened girl?

He won the fight, what have you got to say about that?

He was probably lying, the good news is that fight is over.

You shouldn't be too pissed off. It at least gets Valuev out of the picture. Maybe, just maybe, Haye can knock Ruiz out. It was a poor performance from Haye tonight though.

I dont know he will need an x-ray if he did injure it. If he did he would be out the ring again for it to get better.

I don't believe so, I think he faked the injured back (Klitschko, Setanta meltdown) but he definitely threw more punches in the first 2 than in the 4 or so rounds following them.

I think he was lying about the hand but it takes nothing away from the win. Against that kind of guy, Haye did the right thing and boxed smart.
