When froch was relatively unknown his speed was supposed to be one of his strengths. I dont think he is slow at all. Not as fast as some, but then again, froch goes for power most of the time, which will be slower.
But to get to his level you do need speed and he has good competent workhorse speed that does the job most of the time..

Froch is a tough dude you gotta give em that. I dont really root for him because he talks about himself being so great when he doesnt really have that much talent imo. either way i give em props but i still think he lost to dirrell.

Froch has looked slow in his recent fights because of who he's been fighting. The guy's got decent speed IMO, but he likes to load up on shots too much and end up telegraphing them like hell. Watch some of the combos he unloaded on Taylor and Pascal. They're not slow at all.

            He's slow. Fact.

Pascal aint great and Bute is better. I think he's romanian, canadian right?

Taylor was winning but has a weak chin. Well now

Dirrel got robbed, although close fight for me and Dirrell didn't win it by much at all while the americans think he won by miles.

Infact Dirrell showed us even more how Calz would embarass him.

But seriously, Carl's lack of speed is actually shocking. I wonder if he should reconsider his career as a boxer, his slowness is insane.
Margarito throws weird punches but he's not slow

Precisely. Lets see him move on to golf or snooker, hes just not quick enough to box

hes the SMW version of valuev
its ironic that they call dirrell 'the matrix' when froch was the one fighting in slow motion

It's not the fact that he is slow that shocks me , it's that is has the worst technique i have ever seen for a top level fighter. He throws arm punches, he's always wide open, he leads with uppercuts and he has no defense what so ever. Who the hell is his trainer? He should be fired.

That being said he got this far with only chin and balls. So more power to him, but still, somebody should teach him to box he could be so much better than he already is.

the horse he was riding collapsed and died and now he's dragging it alongside the road.
