don't get hyped about Dawson-johnson II, i predict a snoozefest.

this will be another HBO snooze fest. i can see dawson on his bike trying to get hit by johnson and johnson trying to come foward and only foward and not cutting off the ring. unless johnson cuts off the ring or dawson tries to box him without using a unicycle, i see this as a boring 12 round UD in dawson favor.

*waits for this to get buried in manny/cotto/mayweather threads/*

Naw.. It will be ok to watch.. Johnson is going to dance around him for sure, but as he's doing that, the combos will be raining down.

I actually hope Dawson steps up his aggression this time, whilst showing a significant improvement in stamina. If he manages to bring those attributes to the game, and beat Johnson convincingly (even though I had it 116-112 for Dawson last time, which IMO is convincing enough), we could be seeing the making of a 'great' fighter at last.

Right now I only consider Dawson 'very good'. Not quite the TRUTH yet.

Johnson won't let it be a snoozefest even if Dawson boxes beautifully.

        Dawson UD though.

          I don't think it'll be that boring.
          I'm looking forward to it.

All Johnson has to do is cut off the ring instead of following this time, Dawson's footwork is shaky. Glen will do his best to come out like he did against Roy.

i actually think the fight is going to the same as last time, except this time dawson will prove the naysayers wrong and win a much deserved decision.

I haven't even heard anything about the weigh in. When is it going down?

i hope he does as well, i don't mind no aggression in a fighter but if gets to the point where you can get your man out of there then you better take that chance. depending on how he does this fight will tell me wheather or not he worth the hype.

The fight is anticipated due to being an overdue rematch. I do not expect fireworks however, or at least not to the degree of the original fight. Johnson has slowed noticeably since then.
