yeah & nevada state commission also had the 10oz glove rule for the welterweight class till the margarito/cotto fight when arum convinced them to change the rule in order to get the fight in vegas. i wonder how much 10oz gloves would affect pac's speed. or if he could go a full twelve throwing at the pace he likes to without getting heavy hands with 10oz. but no excuses, cotto even though hes used the 10oz glove many times he actually prefers the 8oz, but to be honest i get the feeling that arum spends alot more time around pac. & when the dealing for this fight was going on it seemed like he never really backed cotto up when all the demands started by pacman team. he got cotto to sign the contract with the lure of this fight & then said fu.k u. but watch & see how he changes his tone when cotto wins,,,he'll be kissing that ass again.

What I know is, more and more fans favored bigger Cotto to beat the smaller Pacman, and the 145lbs weight barrier will favor Cotto much who scaled in his last fight with Clottey at 146lbs than Pac who is from 140lbs will be redydrating to 145lbs.

jealousy is the name of the game. what advantage pacman will get if the ring is bigger than the standard size of 20' x 20'. how will the size of the ring give pacman an advantage? will pacman's size be enhanced by the size of the ring? this is another excuse for the pac-haters.
