Ricky Hatton to host WWE's Monday Night Raw

Could there be a possible Mayweather vs Hatton rematch in the works?

Next month, World Wrestling Entertainment's hit program Monday Night Raw will be in Sheffield, England and Manchester native Ricky Hatton will be the special guest host.

On November 9th, World Wrestling Entertainment will be coming to Sheffield, England when it hosts Monday Night Raw with Randy Orton, John Cena, Triple H and other superstars when they perform in the squared circle. Ricky Hatton, English boxer, will be the special guest host, according to ifight365.com.

Previous guest hosts to the show include Shaquille O’Neal, Floyd Mayweather, Bob Barker and Al Sharpton. The Sun reports the reason why Chairman Vince McMahon chose Hatton is because he wanted a big profile superstar to host the company’s flagship show. Other celebrities considered for that show were Ricky Gervais and Lennox Lewis, according to NoDQ.com. Hatton will, however, be the second boxer to host the show. Hatton generated huge amounts of revenue in pay-per-views for his fights against Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.

every poster above me is an idiot. wwe wants to attract a brittish audience so they pick a brittish celebrity to host and that must mean that a mayweather-hatton II could be blooming?

Hatton vs Floyd II = another reason why FLoyd won't fight a WW......easy money.....lots of ticket sales (especially if it happens in the UK) and a good boost to ego....my questions is....why would Hatton and his people even think about this?

And in other news....Fat Joe will walk Cotto to the ring....
