I personally want Floyd to completely annihalate Arturo Gatti in order to further is already great career. That is my opinion. Gatti is a gutsy fighter, but I like PBF more personally.

I personally want Floyd to completely annihalate Arturo Gatti in order to further is already great career.

Seems to me with so many people labeling Gatti the lowest class of fighter anyone could face (a bum) that Floyd cannot further his career by defeating him.

What say you?

If he beats Gatti mercilessly in the early rounds and finishes him before 3, that would make another huge statement, and furthermore set up a big match with the winner of Tszyu/Hatton for being considered the best fighter in the division, which I already think Floyd is. We know how much heart Gatti has, Can PBF break it early, and re-asess how he is already the Terminator.

I agree that there is not much to be gained for Floyd here. How much respect did DLH get for beating Gatti? I will be rooting for Gatti but I know his chances are very slim. This is a win win for Gatti. As long as he is boxing people will want to see him. If he loses he was outclassed by a boxer everyone thought was way better than him. IF he wins, he will be an even bigger name and more of a draw. And people will start to talk about him with more respect in terms of skill.

If Floyd wins, he beat a 'bum' (as many people call him). If he loses, he was exposed as overrated. Or maybe that he is like Roy and has a weak chin. Not much to gain from the fight for his career. The only thing it will do is get his name out to a few more people. And of course there is the money from the fight!
