    Miguel Cotto Overconfident?

What everyone is saying about him, doesn’t concern me. I know what I can do to him – he better be focused on who is in front of him: Miguel Cotto.
It’s not important to me what the boxing world sees. Once I win on Nov. 14, he can do whatever he wants . .. but I am going to win this fight.
I think if he thinks he can reach seven divisions, he’s picked the wrong moment and the wrong opponent.
I’m a boxer, not an artist, not a singer. I’m just a boxer, focused on the things I’m going to do. That’s the reason I’m here.
Forget about Freddie Roach. He can train Manny the best he can, but in the end, it’s just Manny and Miguel Cotto in the ring.
Speed is not a factor. Everyone thinks it is. But that’s why you prepare. We know he’s fast . . . And Manny comes from lower weight divisions. If he thinks he has the same power against Miguel Cotto, he’s very wrong.
I’m pretty recovered from the Margarito defeat. I showed the world that from my last two victories. I don’t have anything else to say about it.
I showed I can deal with a huge cut and a strong opponent. I learned how to deal with huge problems inside a fight.
I’m doing this for me, for my family, and for people who want to follow me. I don’t pay too much attention to other’s commentaries . . . Wherever they want to put Miguel Cotto, I’m gonna be happy.

Maybe. Hopefully not too confident to the point he's reckless.

If Cotto was not confident in this fight then he should just retire.
I would be a little more worried if he were not confident enough.
Roach predicting locker room knock outs and knock out during and after the weigh in are pretty funny. Talk about over confident?

Think so? He's gone on record saying he knows Roach is trying to play mind games and he is going to fight his usual fight.

I think after all the bull**** both fighters are going to come out cautious for round 1. Guess we'll find out once the bell rings.

This is just crazy. Cotto is a true welter, Pac is not. Cotto should have no problem with Pac at welter. It's not overconfidence, just common sense.

Funny how Judah and Malignaggi both talked mad **** before the fight and Cotto responded similarly to how he's responding to Roach and look how they ended up!..LMAO!..

                I can't WAIT!!!!!!

it'll be cautious for about the 1st minute...then that first mid-ring exchange happens and they BOTH realize how much faster PAC is....then the war begins

a high tempo pace is set and by the 6th, Cotto is sucking for air

I think the pace of the fight is key. Cotto needs to get Manny's respect and slow down the fight in order to win. If Manny is able to dictate the pace and can handle Cotto's shots, he wins.

As far as picking a winner, I'm still on the fence.
