only credible thing im taking from oscar is manny doesnt have enough power 2 knock any legit welterweight & that cotto will walk him down on later rounds & get a late KO....

I believe after Pacman land some of his best shots early and Cotto keeps coming, Manny will start to get discourage. In my opinion Cotto makes adjustments in fights better than most fighters. I believe going down the stretch Cotto will breakdown Pacman. Cotto has a very good defense and a great chin. Once Pacman starts to mix it up and I believe he will because of his adrenline flowing and Millions watching. He will start to stay in front of Cotto just long enough to get HIT! Once that happens Pacman will be a different fighter. That's when he will start to weaken and fall apart. I don't see this fight going 12 Rds. Cotto will get stronger as the fight goes on. Freddie Roach said earlier on a post that he predict Pacman with a KO by rd. 9
If I had to put money on this fight I would predict it the other way. Cotto over Pacman with a KO in 9. Just my opinion! It's going to be a good fight.

It is true.....and every other fighter from 135lbs to 160lbs (cept when he quit against B-Hop)....so he actually quit twice in his career....to the biggest fighter he faced...and the smallest....

Wow...Oscar didn't pick Cotto in the FIRST place? Now he switches? That was a shocker...Also, funny coming from the guy that picked on the smaller man and pulled a no mas.

The Oscar that fought Manny P reminded me exactly of the way Castillo was when he fought Hatton. Slow, fumbling, uneven foot movement, and legs buckling or wavering a little at almost every punch. Even the term "tottering" could be used.

It certainly never looked anything like even a "shot" Oscar, it looked much worse, he could hardly get off a punch.

The Oscar of his 1st Mosley fight, would easily beat up Manny. I have no doubt about it.

And lest I'm accused of being an Oscar "fan", let me say that I actually do not care for Oscar's persona, I much prefer the simpler andmore honest Manny P.

And I haven't been a "fan" of any sports figure since I was an adolescent kid, many years ago.

Let's not forget that the word"fan" derives from the word "fanatic".............
