Could you really knock him though.....he would be moving up in weight against an unbeaten fighter who is 40-0....just like him......JCC jr. could be a good fighter but we don't know yet. His 1st rd ko last time out was against a fighter who went life and death with Yorgey.....what if Yorgey beats Angulo on Sat? How does that make JCC jr look?

i wouldn't knock him as i enjoy watching Mayweather fight full stop. but if he chose Chavez at the expense of a Pacquiao or Cotto or Mosley i'd be a bit annoyed

Chavez's size advantage isn't enough to cancel out the gap in class between him and a Pacquiao, Cotto or Mosley

Chavez's potential may not be fully recognised currently but i highly doubt he'll ever reach the dizzying heights that the three i mentioned have

No, Mosley or Cotto/Pac winner. Even the Williams-Martinez winner.

As long as it's the best, no more excuses. The real fans are tired of this run around that we're getting.

How could you not knock him? Jcc Jr. has fought no one world class yet, he has never won a belt.

who care if he's 40-0 if there all fringe contenders? Mayweathers one of if not the best P4P who is a huge boxing draw and can make money against anyone (marquez was not an attraction) and you want people to justifiy fighting a contender who has never won a belt or fought world class opposition.

These things are not relevant, I don't care if fighters draw 10- or 10 million dollars, and who cares about make believe p4p rankings.....I am looking at it from a sporting pov.....would it be wrong for him to take the fight because he is fighting someone at a great disadvantage?.....I say no, even though there are other fighters I would rather see him against.

                      WHO CARES?

Floyd Mayweather - WBC Champion Emeritus @ 154
Let him knock out or Outclassed JCC jr winning every round. in a big PPV event that will put boxing back in the spotlight.
and then go get his belt back from Martinez in another P.P.V event to put boxing back in the spotlight.

Floyd is at a point now, that when he fights all people pay attention.

                      Show some respect.

Floyd has all the options in the world.
                      he can moved up
                      Moved down
                      or stay at Welterweight...
                      It doesnt matter...

If you dont like it, dont watch it.
