Cotto is prone to uppercuts, that's when his defense is off, and Manny tends to get tagged as well. You make Manny sound so perfect, when you yet have to talk about both fighters flaws. Manny doesn't have an uppercut, and I'm sure Cotto can take his shot, he has proven it. Everyone is underating Cotto's boxing ability, when I think he will silence everyone. Cotto is going to SHOCK everyone.. Counter compubox parade. I know Cotto is working on a lot of head movement, and that he has.

So ask yourself. This fight is hard for both, but I would put my money on Cotto because he has the advantage IMO. Timing kills speed.

Clottey and Mosley hit Cotto with everything but the kitchen sink. His defense is god awful when coming forward with someone who actually fights back, if it werent for his running skills Cotto would have been toast if he kept coming forward. Punch stats dont lie..
Im gonna predict Pac will land 60% of his power punches as Cotto starts to run after 6 rounds.

I would say Mosley hits harder than Pac, quite alot harder IMO.

I can't imagine Pac ever putting Margarito away.

He didn't reall use it against Oscar and Ricky.

Infact look at his track record of using uppercuts consistantly throughout a fight and its always been against subpar opposition like Diaz, Solis etc.

His uppercut really isn't that good, and Cotto has only really been vunerable to the upercut when he being forced to move backward, which I don't see Pacquiao doing, it still doesn't mean Pac won't win but I don't think the uppercut is the key.

I highly doubt Cotto is gonna be able to walk through Pacs punches. Good luck with that.. Shane was throwing one punch at a time, so was Judah, so was Tony. Pac is gonna be throwing combos from all angles with power and speed

I think Cotto will play this fight similar to his bout with Malignaggi. He will take 3 punches to land 1, and I have no reason to believe that Pac hits harder than any of the bigger punchers that he has faced. Cotto is going to bully him and work that body.

true.....he got beat so bad that I forgot he had his moments......Cotto gets rocked ALOT but he hasn't been dropped at 147......he took knees against Marg but he wasn't dropped!!
