So a good few people still say Adamek was drained at 175 when he faced Dawson. I don't put so much weight in that if you excuse my pun, because he'd been in and around that weight for awhile and didn't complain so much.
But christ, so that fight against Dawson, his last at LHW 175 was 2 and a half years ago.
Would he have stayed a LHW had he have won that fight against Dawson, I bet he would've for a year or so taking him way into 2008.
But he went right up to CW which is a gain of 25 lbs, just 4 months later. His walk around weight is obviously pretty high, but that's still some real fluctuations in fight weights in such a short amount of time.
And then, he jumps up to HW weighing in at 215 lbs, another 15 lbs heavier, just 3 months after his last fight at CW. Plus the guy he fought was a huge 256 lbs.
That's a gain in pre fight night weight at least, 35 lbs in 2 and a half years! Can anyone remember the last time something like this was seen at least in this way, aside from the legend that is RJJ??
I mean just how flexible is this guy? He should face Haye, just to be able to say I came up from LHW, CW, to beat you at HW, you just came up from CW.
