Ricky Hatton, DeGale, Warren, Manny Pick Valuev-Haye

Sportinglife approached several boxing experts to get their opinions and predictions on Saturday's bout between WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev and challenger David Haye. Among them were trainer Emanuel Steward, Ricky Hatton, promoter Frank Warren, prospect James DeGale and several others. [details]

hardly surprising listening to warren, he always sounds bitter about toerh fighters who are never in his own stable.

interesting listening to manny who said that haye has improved alot, has cruiserweight speed and that haye is very talented.

    haye by KO in 10.

Frank Warren: "An old Evander Holyfield gave Valuev a lot of problems and a lot of people thought he won the fight. Holyfield has got a good chin though and David Haye hasn't, in my opinion. I don't think he's got great stamina either. He's got to win that fight by boxing, not looking for big shots. Haye should beat him but I'm not a big fan of David Haye either. I've got to lean towards Valuev."

Is it just me or is Frank Warren on the one hand saying David Haye should and will win, but then goes on to say Valuev will win?

DeGale knows what we all know.

You need to win it Hayemaker, and win it big.

Yeah, it seems like he's picking both

He must've meant - Haye is expected to win, but I'm leaning towards Valuev

Frank Warren is like a spiteful little girl, he never supports any British fighter who hasn't signed with him. He should be greatful that Haye helped him make Enzo Mac's biggest pay cheque, considering how overated he turned out to be.

I don't even think it was an accident dude, he said Haye SHOULD win, as if in his mind even he expects Haye to win. But then goes on to say I'm leaning towards Valuev, as if to say I'm desperately trying to convince myself Valuev will win, yes, he will.

What a A* idiot. And he's got one eye.
