Martinez vs. Margarito And Quintana vs. Williams 1: Their first and only losses

For those who havent seen them, here are William's and Martinez's last losses. It's safe to say that both fighters have learned from their losses since then, but take what you will from them.

Quintana/Williams 1 was in NO way boring.

And **** the people that said Williams just had a bad night. Quintana brought it. He fought the perfect fight.

I would give Quintana a chance to win a rubber match, although Williams has definitely improved.

Williams just kept getting caught over and over again in that fight.

Martinez can DEFINITELY beat Williams. I think he's the only guy with a real shot to be honest.

We only have one blueprint for beating Williams...crafty southpaws punching from weird angles and using a lot of movement.

Martinez has a lot in common with that blueprint.

Agreed. Martinez is also a very well conditioned fighter. He has gotten stronger since the Margarito fight as well. I feel he has more pop than Quintana and is a couple of inches taller so physically, he could smother Williams more effectively.

Yup. Martinez is arguably a bigger, better version of Quintana. The more I think about it, the more I think Williams could be in trouble.

It was a great fight, not boring at all.

Martinez is slicker and yes I believe he has more pop behind those punches.

I've always felt that Quintana's win over PW, while legit and deserved, was a bit of a fluke. IMO, Williams was looking past him to bigger things. Then again I consider Martinez a much better opponent for Williams as well. A very intruiging matchup for sure.
