It all depends on the quality and size of the video. If you have a video that is small like 320 x 240 then you can't do anything with it. But if you have something like 720 x 576 you might be able to play with it and improve the quality a bit by reducing the size and running it thru a few filters depending on what the damage is.

Well, I would suggest you find a better version of the fight and avoid all the extra work. Most every major boxing forum has a video section where different videos are posted of all types, qualities and different encoding methods. You might just want to snoop around.
