If Pac were to be victorious on the 14th he officially would have no business below 140. He would definetely prove to everyone he has what it takes to be above 140. I just wish he would be fighting Cotto at 147 especially if Cotto's putting the damn belt on the line.

I can honestly tell you that as lame as the Marquez - Mayweather fight was...there was a reason behind it. It was to show people that Mayweather could handle Marquez better than Pacman. It was a setup fight, anybody can see that.

except he fought a guy who usually fights 130-135... Making marquez go up in weight as much as he did was as bad as making De La Hoya come down as much as he did

If he would win over Cotto impressively, he would fight SSM before he retires! Afterall, only Floyd Jr and SSM will be left standing that matters to Pac before his retirement. JMM 3rd fight would not be possible because JMM who might agree at 140lbs would be most likely oppositionless at that weight division.

I laugh more and more when I read that Pacquiao speed will neutralize Cotto power and technique. I do not understand how blind the majority of boxing writers and some fans are. Cotto is not that de la Hoya that was in his last fights of his career, Cotto is not that dumb Hatton with any technique and speed. Cotto is a brave and courageous boxer with a lot of determination, big heart, devastating punching power, decent defense and a variety of technique. Cotto will prove the world how wrong they are and will prove boxing experts that they should be called amateurs boxing writers.
