Why didnt the P4P King fight the WW Champ @147lbs?

        only there would be no cutting of weight..

        Whatever people weigh when they are top fighting form...should be the weight class they fight at..

              theres a dude here with a sig of tale of the tape of cotto vs. someone where cotto weighed 159 so cotto should be fighting middleweight???

                You must be new to boxing.

                Fight night weight and weigh-in weight are two different things.

                It's been that way since the 80's.



                As far as Cotto, the last time Cotto allowed himself to be weighed on fight night was in 2007 when he fought Urkal. He came into the ring at 159 lbs for that fight.


                In 2005, against Corley for a 140-lb fight, Cotto came into the ring at 157 lbs.

                    this is awful....(in red)

                    and NOT every fighter puts on weight for the fight...tons of fighters stay the same or near their weigh in weight....

                      hell yea, city of the O where the palm trees grow. But OC is sick too, i like sponging at salt creek, thousand steps (10th ave), and trestles. SAVE TRESTLES!
