    damn viruses/adware/spyware

    why is there so many damn viruses/adware/spyware on this site? isn't it administered at all? i'm sure people are getting paid for all the ads above. WTF.

    don't blame BS for what you get from downloading **** on other sites

      Allowing ads on sites is ok and how they make money. Letting ads run whose creatives have ******* and viruses and uninstigated pop-ups isn't.

      I thought Poppa said they switched ad networks so I would think the problem would go away.

      I haven't experienced them much lately but I would definitely let him know.

      Most reputable publishers and ad servers don't generally allow this kind of thing to happen because it diminishes user experience so I would definitely let him and the admins know via e-mail.

          in the past it was really bad, i'd get hit with wierd popups and attempts to install obvious ****.

          now it's gotten better.

            I get the virus scan pop ups almost daily. Just control+alt+delete them away.

              But yea, I noticed there is a bit of spam or ******* when reading the news sections when Im on a PC

                    Have have not seen them lately, but there was a time where this site would try to redirect you to somewhere that would try to install that Fake Antivirus Trojan almost daily.

                    It seems to have settled down, at least for now.
