boxingscene would be better if it wasn't virus central

I wanted to make reference to this but the staff is well aware of it.
I don't want to hate on boxingscene but it is the one thing I don't appreciate but we have only ourselves to blame because we were given the option about a year ago as to whether or not we should go paid members or the use of ads to pay the site cost, no one wanted to fork out any cash so, the ads were used to help implement the cost of revenue. I personally wish these damn ad scripts were not so malicious but they might be a thing of the past soon as Microsoft is personally going after them and is trying to make them obsolete. I hope MS wins this battle because malicious scripts are just wrong. I am protected so I have nothing to worry about but what about the poor soul that does stumble upon the site looking for a good place to talk boxing and he or she is hit with a malicious script and has no clue how to fix it

certainly not,i'd say about $15 or $20 dollars a year,i paid £10($15 or so) for another forum for a year which is reasonable enough.

If they charged $4.99/month, it wouldn't be a site like this.

The "stans" who are only fans of one fighter wouldn't pay $4.99/month, so it would eliminate a lot of the bull**** threads/posts we see here everyday. Which would eliminate the threads/posts of people replying to said "stans". Less members = less traffic = less money.

I guess what I'm saying is, charging money to visit a site would eliminate a lot of the bull****, but a lot of the bull**** is what makes Boxingscene what it is.

Yahoo Sports Boxing just because of Kevin Iole, Boxing Scene of course, Fight News, Ring TV, ESPN, and I'm starting to check out Fight Hype. Box Rec is obviously like IMDB for boxing fans. Other than that, I don't check out many sites.

If you are going by the stats of sites that are called what is my site worth and what have you, they site numbers change all the time. I am no specialist in that field nor do I really care but BS should be worth a pretty penny. and lol at me, mine is not enough worth to fill the tank with gas

I have no idea how a lot of this works. But I know ******** sites, particularly Covers.com use boxingscene articles in their boxing section. I'm sure they don't get 'em for free.

This place has money coming in from every angle, I'm sure.
