Kermit Cintron Blasts WBO's Decision on Angulo-Yorgey

With his win over Alfredo Angulo in May, Kermit Cintron earned the position as the top ranked contender to WBO Junior Middleweight champion Sergiy Dzinziruk. So, imagine the surprise of Team Cintron when they learned Saturday’s bout between #4 ranked Angulo, and #5 ranked Harry Joe Yorgey would be for the WBO’s interim title at 154 lbs. [details]

Yeah I know were he is coming from. But if I was him, he should leave Sergei Dzindziruk well alone, Sergei would beat Cintron I feel pretty comfortable.

Dzindziruk in my opinion is the best Jr Middleweight in the world. Great well schooled southpaw. And he would box the ears of Angullo.

Cintron should go after Spinks, a champion who he would have a good chance of beating.

Didn't they basically make up a belt for Yorgey and Angulo.

Interim titles are pointless. They should stop doing them.

Yorgeys promoter paid off the WBO to make this title up. What a waste of money, he is going to get beat no upset for Yorgey.

The problem is that fighters rather fight for a belt than each other once they are in line for a title

Doesn't this remind anyone of Juan Diaz getting the shot at Juan Manuel Marquez instead of Nate Campbell? Although I am not a huge fan of Kermit Cintron, he has a right to complain here. We all know the 'organizations' are crooked and have financial bias, but this is just not fair. Cintron earned his right, he should get his chance...
