Why do you hate Floyd?

I don't hate floyd. I admire his skills. But I would like to see him against top oe elite competition.

im trying to understand the purpose of hating. i dont understand people that get mad over something they have no control over..

you cant be serious if you really think ppl's personal lives here are affected. but i know of two though who are, horus and alhaymon, both of whom are floyd fans.

alot of people really hate Floyd, and those are people who take boxing way to personally. It is pretty pathetic.

Not another thread on this....this subject has been beaten to death. Just look back in past threads for your answer. And re; your post...i take this is your 1st boxing forum....lol. People get a bit heated up in such a controversial, violent sport. But a lot of the people that appear to be arguing are, in fact friends.

As far as hating, some people just overeact, or get too emotional over the whole thing. They forget it's just the internet. If you have been on the net for any substantial period of time, you should by now know it's nature. Trolls, flamebaiters, name calling, you can be anybody you want to be on the web. Sort 'em out by who is consistant and posts reality based thinking comments or opinions.

Good posters will just be who they really are, if they are mentally and emotionally, "sound", or stable, or well balanced, however you wish to percieve it. They present fact, and state if they are expressing their opinion or fact. Some people claim their opinion as fact. It's up to you to decipher it all. Just use common sense and don't feed into negativity Or fall prey to threads setup to discredit a fighter.

Sometimes they are easy to spot, sometimes you have to question the thread starters motives. Not literally, i mean you have to ask yourself. It takes a while, and none of us are perfect, and we all make mistakes and none of us are always right, so give us the same courtesy we give you.

I don't hate Floyd. I just have my opinions about him based on what he has done and how he conducts himself. I liked Floyd early in his career and liked him uptill the Marquez fight. But my opinions have changed and I just don't see him as a fighter who wants to fight. His ego is too big. He does not affect me personally, but what he is doing will affect the way people perceive him and his legacy which he says "don't pay the bills". What gets me most about Floyd is that he has the talent to become what he says he is but his ego does not realize that he is nowhere near what he thinks.

I'm down with posters who don't like Floyd, I have no prob, posters can have their opinions on fighters, it's natural. Some just abuse the "having your own opinion" privilege and they just take it so far that they look like they were Floyd's ex girl and are trying to get back at him by bad-mouthing him on a boxing forum.

Whenever he fights somebody his own size in the top 2 than i'll shut the f up.
