My hard head say I should be ambivalent about what weight cotto should come in at. Meaning this catch weight stuff is crap.
Cotto is a professional athlete and he signed the contract , therefor he should honor it. I have no doubt he will keep his end of the agreement.
Plus he came in at 146 for Clottey so i dont think a pound will be that big a deal.Last edited by old cat; 11-04-2009, 02:17 PM.Comment

Meh, Roach is being a ***** saying weight matters SOOO much at the time of the weigh-in but in interviews says it doesn't matter what he weighs. I don't blame him, you gotta give your fighter the best advantage he can get, doesn't mean I have to like it though. Also him talking about Cotto's tats now, I know he's trying to get under Cotto's skin but he's talking quite a bit against a guy who has a pretty legitimate shot and kicking his fighters ass.Comment

They have 10 days... he could easily drop 5-7 pounds in that frame and hydrate back up to 155+ on fight night. Cotto is immensely secretive about every upcoming fight, he just doesn't like giving away anything to his opponent. He looks the best I've seen him, ever maybe, and his last condition trainer was his current boxing trainer. This new guy looks to know a lot more about fitness just looking at his build and Cotto's never been one to do anything unprofessional, he'll be fine.Comment
