Wilfredo Vazquez Jr fights Garcia whom KO'd Rafa Marquez in 2

To be a good prospect ranked at 122 pounds, who could fight for the world title soon, Wilfredo Vazquez, Jr., seems to pay much attention to the future.

Vazquez, namesake son of former triple world champion, will return to the ring November 20 to defend his title from the Latino World Boxing Organization (WBO) vs Genaro 'Poblanito' Garcia in Kissimmee, Florida.

To meet the challenge, 'Daddy', as his friends call to Vasquez, the son could fight for the vacant WBO title at 122 pounds, after the defending champion, Juan Manuel Lopez, climb to 126 pounds to challenge Steve Luevano, WBO featherweight title.

For now, however, 'Daddy' did not want to hear anything about it.

    Say

"I will leave that to my dad and 'Tutico' (Felix Zabala, son, his promoter). I prefer to concentrate on the fight now, "said the fighter, with a mark of 16-0, one draw and 13 knockouts. "I focus on Mr. Garcia and then you win, we have the rest of the night to talk about the future."

The fight between Vazquez, Jr., and Garcia star in the lineup that Zabala, Jr., presented by Telemundo.

Garcia, a native of Puebla, Mexico, has a record of 36-7 with 20 knockouts, and has fallen by knockout in 12 rounds against the champion of 122 pounds World Boxing Council (WBC), the Japan's Toshiaki Nishioka.

Its largest victory is a knockout in two rounds with Rafael Marquez.

Zabala said it has started talks to succeed "in his ward on 20 November-holder can stage the fight in Bayamon or Kissimmee.

Both Vazquez, son, and his father are natural in Bayamon. Like his father, 'Daddy' has done much of his career in Florida.

Talking about a step up in Competition.

This dude Genaro Garcia is 36-7-0(20KOs) and have been in the rig with Hozumi Hazegawa(L UD12), Tashioki Nishioka(L KO12), Rafael Marquez(KO 2), Miguel Roman( UD12) and a couple more.

Taking incosideration, that Vazquez didnt had a single amateur fight, this is a huge jump in competition!!!

Garcia has been on a downstroke for a long time, also taking into account that marquez hadnt fully matured yet as a fighter when that fight happened, Garcia never really materalized into anything, for the time being, this guy is a prospect and little else until said otherwise.

Non the less, he KOd Marquez who is a top fihter ight now, ad that happend, when Marquez had 23 fights and arcia like 25 fights.

Plus the fact that he have been in with a lot of good fihters, maes him a ral threat, for somebody with only 16 pro fights and 0 ama fights!!

This guys are not playing around with Vazquez jr, they wont feed him 100 bums like they are doing with Chavez jr.!!!!

Vasquez Jr also doesnt have the name that chavez jr has either, Vasquez can afford to take a loss. several of them if he has to. I garuntee you if this was "Tito Trinidad Jr" this is NOT the road hed be taking.

Have'nt seen Vazquez Jr. but if he's anything like Sr. he'll have a promising future. I would have to agree they're stepping up the competition, looking
forward to seeing Jr. in action. Hey that Yankee pisser got me rolling!!!

              LETS GO YANKEES !!!!!
