    Bad boy (?) Scott Harrison

    Monday March 28, 2005 21:07 PST
Bloodied Scott Harrison kicked-out of Night Club

According to several reports, WBO Featherweight champ, Scottie Harrison was involved in yet another street-confrontation, this time with seven bouncers at the Centre Point club in East Kilbride. Harrison apparently began arguing with a doorman, and when they realized who he was, several more "doormen" or bouncers, were called to assist.

Witnesses say that Harrison was escorted off the premises after a several minute melee. One witness said, "As he left the club, he was bleeding from the head ... It looked quite nasty."

In June of last year, Harrison was acquitted of charges that he beat a man in a restroom at a bar. And earlier this month, Harrison appeared in court on charges of "Resisting Arrest", stemming from an incident in which a cabbie drove to a police station after Harrison refused to leave his cab.

I don't know much about his background, character or his "recreational" preferences, but is Scottie another bad boy of boxing?

Nah he's just a typical Glasgow boy Really though I'd imagine there's no shortage of young guys full of the booze who would have a go at Harrison no problem, maybe he should start going to classier clubs! most people would be like he's a boxer i'll come off second best but not these clowns though with the taxi situation, the police were trying to get him out of the car & he started grabbing one of them by the throat so he was probably pissed up at the time

Yeah, so they can tell their kids how they had a shot at fame and glory, how they fought about one round with a boxing champ. But did he really tackle seven bouncers??? Those guys are huge!!

I cant remember the Glasgow bouncers but the bouncer round my way are just fat or on steroids. Big and slow, a good boxer could beat on them.

I've rarely been on a night out here when there's no trouble, too much male ego flying about especially in the clubs, I have noticed the difference when I've been to places in England, it's so much more relaxed down there, nobody trying to stare you down or ****ing into you to try & start a fight obviously England has it's places but from my own experiences Glasgow is the worst for that & I'd guess that Harrison was probably in a situation like that and wasn't wanting to back down & look like a *****.

I had some Scottish friends and they seemed to be friendly and cheerful guys. Of course, whenever I was with them, they're sober. I have never been with them while they were under the spirit. Now, I wouldn't wish to be anywhere near them if I know they had one or two for the road.

Moderate alcohol is good for us but we all know how too much of the stuff can affect your mental faculties and make you do the strangest things which you will forget and later regret.

My Ex girlfriend was from Paisley, which is like 20 minutes from Glasgow town centre. She was lovely untill you like disagreed or upset her. Then she`d scream Nooooo in a high pitch Scotish accent and through punches. I think this fighting is something in their nature!
