Didnt you guys hear that PAC willing to fight cotto even he weight at 147 during fight night? Catch weight is financial move for PAC to fight cotto at 145 but willing to fight him even he weights 147 at the weight in. So guys please stop this bull crap weight issue. Guess what Cotto will just have to pay like Floyd do for does extra found, except he will have to pay a lot higher than floyd.

Mayweather is worse, because not only did he agree to it and sign the contract he then deliberately came in over the weight to have an even greater advantage than the already too many he had.

Argh, some people are amazing. They go to any lengths to stop their favourite little fighter from looking like the **** he obviously is.
I do agree that he did sign the contract, but it wasnt Mayweather who wanted the fight @ 144 lbs. And NOBODY really knows how hard Mayweather tried to make 144 lbs....

and I am pretty sure that the the weight difference did not determine the outcome of the fight....

FACT is that Juan Manuel Marquez COULDNT HIT MAYWEATHER, so his size had nothing to do with it.

And your comment about protecting my favorite fighter doesnt apply to me because this is not a Felix Trinidad or Roy Jones jr thread.

one last thing is how can you say Mayweather is the catchweight king when he has NEVER ever made anyone fight @ a catchweight...UNLIKE PAC in 2 of his last 3 fights......thats fact and CANT BE DISPUTED

I'd say Floyd, because he is signing catchweight fight deal and he knows that he won't make the weight and he probably never attempted to.

Manny respects the catchweight limit, Floyd don't...

Oh and noone put a gun to JMMs head telling him he had to weigh as much as possible. He couldve came in a 140,135,137 etc. He choose to come in at 142 and whatever weighing that much did to him was his own fault. Floyd fought DLH at 154, knowing DLH would likely come in over 160. He didnt put on 10 lbs, he was 149 on fight night and look what happened. Besides weight had 0 to do with Floyd beating JMM. I could see if he was walking through JMM punches but JMM barely landed any so you cant make that argument.

                    .

                    JMM never fought Diaz.

You making it a bigger font doesn't make it true.

                    But if you're really curious,

Manny P weighed 134.5 against Diaz.
