I don't blame Floyd. It was an easy road to the lineal championship. I would have done the same thing.

If you find Floyd guilty of being an oppurtunist, so be it. That doesn't mean he was scared of anyone.

People were saying that because he chose Judah over Baldomir. And Floyd always responded with how many losses Baldomir had, how that wasn't really Zab in there, etc. Then all of a sudden, Baldomir beat Gatti and he became worthy.

But that really wasn't Floyd's call although I'm sure he was grateful for it. HBO was setting up the big showdown with Oscar and Baldomir was the perfect set-up. Because he was a bigger name than Margarito? Hell nah, because he had just garnered some legitimacy with his win over Zab but wasn't threatening enough to do **** against Floyd. So they showcased him with Gatti. The rest was history.

Think a Mayweather vs. Margarito (At that time) could have generated 325K PPV Buys. I'm only asking.

I think it would have done just as good as the Baldomir fight and I'd bet it would've done more. Imagine if instead of Baldomir, HBO had showcased Margarito instead? What if they put him in with Gatti (good Lord), talked about how he had held a belt for years, how avoided he had been, how much of a warrior he was...imagine?

Um Margarito never beat any Welterweight champ prior to him beating Cotto so it was the only logical decision...Baldomir was really the UNDISPUTED WW champ but elected to only keep the WBC belt to avoid paying the sanctioning fee's.....

its funny that no one cared about Margarito until BOB ARUM started associating his name with Mayweather. Also its funny that they were both on Top Rank and Arum NEVER EVER mentioned this fight happening until Mayweather LEFT TOP RANK!...what a coincidence
