I agree, Cotto has power and pillows or not, 18oz gloves add alot of weight and momentum to a punch. Why is anyone suprised a super lightweight thinks a WW punches hard?

actually is the other way around, the added weight slows down the punch and therefore less power is transfered.

Manny has definitely improved as a boxer as far as balance when throwing combinations and being more tidy with his punches, but the truth is he was never hard to hit and Cotto is gonna hit him harder than he's ever been hit before.

Marquez took Floyds power at 147 all night long, and Floyd punches as hard as Cotto. He just doesn't bother to put together combinations.
