Pac is too fast. The whole Cotto is too big argument completly eliminates the relative boxing skills of both fighters and avoids that Manny has done well moving up in weight.
I bet its the same people who said DLH will KO little Pac easy, etc etc.

I predicted this from day one....and I also said that the odds would change on the day of the fight.
Realization is setting in ..I dont think it has to do with 24/7

Hey a lot of peepz didn't think DLH was gonna come in being a weight drained zombie.

I think a lot a people are comparing a fully dehydrated De La Hoya with a healthy Cotto. It was the big bad De La Hoya picking on little Manny but weight draining makes a big difference. Cotto will wont allow his ass to be weight drained. This is Manny's truest test at the upper weight.

fact here is this, as the fight draws closer people are getting smarter and apparently doing their research. this is what i've said all along, if people research both fighters careers and circumstances going into this fight, they'll notice it's been all set up for manny to face cotto, lose and work on the next hype train called the cotto express.

you will notice there's no indication in mannys career, if you truly analyze it, to think he has an actual realistic chance of winning this fight. hbo knows it, mayweather knows it and those who've followed both boxers careers do as well. this is not a welterweight who was drained or way past his prime, this is no overhyped crazy brawler - it's a heavy natural welterweight. it's a fight designed to put the spotlight on cotto and make him look like they made pacquiao look in the past. this is as far as the road comes for pacquiao (in terms of going up in weight and looking deadly - because a shot de la hoya is as heavy as he'll be successful at) and the same will happen with cotto eventually. a victory for cotto would open various amounts of revenue opportunities and create a big cash cow.

people will be hyping him like crazy for a mayweather fight and they could make him go up in weight and fight guys like paul williams. there's still road to make money out cotto, more than mannys. manny will still sell and make money, just not in fights that would draw as much money as cotto due to the options available. it's a business and the moves/fights are done to squeeze that cow until it's empty.

I agree! I mean Pac is a great fighter, but DLH wasn't DLH that night. Now the Hatton fight surprised me cause I never though Manny had that kind of power. So with this said, if Cotto gets careless he CAN get KTFO, BUT I really never seen him get tagged with something he couldn't handle.

By saying Pac is too fast, you too are eliminating the relativty of boxing skills. Speed does not equate boxing skill, which Cotto has.
I have noticed that many people that pick Pac to win are confusing speed with boxing ability and skill.
Pac has never been a slick boxer, he has beaten opponents mostly with his high work rate and speed.

Yea, tons of Manny fans out here, there are a lot of Phillipino's where I'm from.
I'll tell you honestly that every person I've spoke to in regard to the fight doesn't seem to give Cotto a chance. I've said from day one though that I prefer it that way cuz I'm gonna make a decent buck on this one thanks to people countin Miguel out.
