He wasted that I.Q fighting Mayweather now he might never fight Pacquiao again.

Cotto does have more tools in that he has more versatility. Marquez is a better pure counter puncher. Cotto is a good counter puncher as well though. However, Cotto can be a boxer (Mosley) or be a pressure fighter (Zab) or a counter puncher (Margarito). Cotto can fight off the back foot or the front foot. Cotto can also turn southpaw.

Marquez while extremely smart doesn't really have as many aspects in his game.

Does that mean Cotto is a better fighter than Marquez not necessarily. But it does make mean he has more tools and options for approaching a fight.

For this particular fight,Cotto has more skills than Marquez ever would against Pacman,but if weight & size wasn't an issue,they are about even,or Marquez slightly ahead!!

cotto ain't no slouch, but jmm is better than him at everything... just cause jmm couldn't land a punch on ***git floyd doesn't mean jmm < cotto.

Marquez isn't too good at leading, although I had him beating Pacquiao; look how vulnerable he was in the rematch against Pacquiao. Marquez is a better counter puncher and has more punches in his arsenal. It's a weird comparison because they're nothing alike. It's dumb to say Marquez is better all around.
