But Kessler has a nice uppercut if he can catch him going in for the hug.

Ward can be maddening. He's quick as hell but that hugging drives me crazy. Ward can get off punches really well and fluidly then he resorts to the hugging.

I am hoping Kessler can stay with the jab and not go for the home run so much to prevent this.

I think Kessler's power is very good and he punches much straighter and hits probably just as hard as Miranda (maybe harder) so Ward has to mind his p
s and q's in this one.

Kessler is a good solid boxer. However, he does seem to get befuddled with unorthodox styles (Calzaghe). Saying that, Ward is a pretty straight up slick American style boxer.

Whatever happens, Ward's beard is going to get tested at some point during the fight, which will give us a bit more of an idea of where he sits, or will sit in the pecking order. If you believe Scott Gilfoid's prediciton , Kessler will break his fists on Ward's granite chin, then proceed to be ko'd in round 1! Back in the real world Scott, where you can't block people who ridicule you, its Kessler by decision or stoppage.

PS if you want to read any of his stuff, which they really must publish for joke value, go goole his musings, some of it would turn the most dedicated nuthugger crimson with embarrassment

Yes, and Kessler throws more effective combinations than Miranda.
