There's nothing cowardly about stopping a fight for the good your own health. I have more respect for a boxer who knows when to quit than someone who recklessly tries to fight on against the advice of everyone around him. Yes, it's sexier to have someone fight till he's knocked out cold but a boxer's health is more important than our entertainment. If it is ever found out that Margarito used illegal hand wraps in that fight then Cotto's decision to end the fight is not only non-cowardly but wise.
