Chris Arreola Suspended By The WBC For Cursing

At their 47th annual convention in South Korea, the World Boxing Council suspended Chris Arreola on Tuesday [from the rankings and fighting for the title] due to his foul language in the ring, when he expressed himself after he lost to Ukrainian champion Vitali Klitschko on September 26th, 2009 in Los Angeles when Vitali put his Heavyweight title on the line. Why does it take over a month to suspend the guy for a few words on HBO? HBO shows Cathouse for Pete's sake, this a joke?

I guess they are really punishing Arreola for some schiesty stuff that must have gone on behind the scenes for Arreola to get the title shot and he lost.

It would have been more of a punishment if the WBC sent Arreola to his room without diner.........then he would learn his lesson and clean up is potty mouth.

Chris does NOT need the time off He just can not fight for the wbc he fights in DeC the under card with Paul Williams in Atlantic City. Kids talk worse then that in 1st grade,so a kid would have heard it so what,my wife works for a school 1st graders talk alot more than what Chris said .WBC needs a wake up call it is not 1920 I hear more swearing in the fighters corners than any fighter has ever said.
